Field representatives meet with Fremont County residents

Feb 18, 2013 - By Alejandra Silva, Staff Writer

Covering several areas in Fremont County on Tuesday and Wednesday, field representatives Ryan McConnaughey, Sandy Tinsley and Pam Buline visited with residents to discuss any questions or concerns they might have pertaining to federal agencies.

Tinsley, who represents U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi, and McConnaughey, representing U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis, made the trip from Casper to join Buline, who represents Sen. John Barrasso and has an office in Riverton. They visited Lander, Fort Washakie, Pavillion and Riverton.

The field representatives met at Riverton City Hall, and Mayor Ron Warpness stopped by to ask about the expected Wind River Job Corps center in Riverton that was originally approved for the state in February 2007. Tinsley took note and assured the mayor she'd bring up the topic with Enzi.

The field representatives said only a small number of residents met with them, but they encourage residents to contact them year-round via e-mail and phone number or by visiting them at their offices in Wyoming.

Citizens can reach Enzi's Casper office at 261-6572, Barrasso's Riverton office at 856-6642 or Lummis's Casper office at 261-6595.
